Okay, I’m seriously just VENTING. . . . but because of my own ignorance, my husband just bought me a 32 GB 1st Generation iPod 2 weeks ago for $460 from Amazon. . . . and now there’s a NEW one for $399?? How’s THAT for keeping up with technology???

I’m tempted to send it back to Amazon. . . . Do you think Amazon would take it back because of this price job so soon after purchasing the 1st Gen??

I do love the idea of having a speaker. . . . . . . . . . . .

Its an amazing Device really, I cant wait to have it, the games have no comparison, I will get it very soon as my christmas gift. I will enjoy it 1000%.

why any one would want to TOUCH their VIEWING SCREEN and leave oil from their fingers all over it is beyond me. touch screens have been around for forever; there’s a REASON they haven’t caught on with PCs, and also, why it sucked with Palms (using the dumb stylus that would always get lost).

why is it such a big deal to appleheads? they BUY IN to the marketing and status, but to a tech/geek head or anyone who just does their research and thinks it through, it doesn’t make sense.

media players – that’s ALL an ipod is – were around long before apple’s entry. and now that they’ve co-opted the technology, somehow it’s “better” because . . . well, just because.

please.

over-priced, over-valued, over-HYPED.

and evidently, looking at market share, over-bought. it reminds me of when calvin klein jeans – read: over-priced, over-valued, over-HYPED – came in when levis had been around for ages. hat’s off to jobs – the guy really is brilliant.

Wifi isent that great. dont you see its cheap. No Flash player or Audio player. Wifi is the reason I bot it. So I could listen to Radio stations & stream Other tubes. its peace of crap. Im taking it back Ipod touch back to marro. You know how I know WIfi Is peace of crap. Steve Jobs maybee smart man but hes selling u you peace of crap that 4 years outta date. ask Steve Jobs about Flash player & when it comes out hes ganna charge you for it . Steve Jobs can eat my poop free of charge charge.

(((((((((((((((((((((OQO Handheld Palm Pocket windows XP))))))))))))))) is BETTER u know how I know is because its 1700. oo dollers. you have a WINDOWS XP in your hand ,You flip the screen up and key pad pop out so u can type u can put it in your pocket, take it to coffee house and it has wifi on it.

This is the best ipod I’ve found and it stores more than the others I’ve had too.
