The screen scratches too easy. Day one I accidently put it in my pocket with my keys and I was all scratched up. And the screen gets way to greasy like another reviewer was saying. Maybe he doesn’t shower often either. Ha Ha.

This phone is incredible. I baught it at the store (for $200 more) but it is one of the best cell phones I have ever owned. I baught a competitor version of the phone but returned it because it was difficult to talk on. This phone is great!

I had written a review of this phone a couple of days ago, and mysteriously, it disappeared. Hmmm. Oh well, if I can warn other people about this inferior piece of crap before they spend money on it, I will continue to post the info about it here.
This phone is not what it appears to be. It may be very stylish, but for all its advertised features, I found out the hard way that this phone does NOT receive email messages from a computer. You may have a T-Mobile email address, but believe me, with this phone, YOU WILL NEVER GET ANY EMAIL. I tried to send some pictures from my computer to my Motorola RIZR for wallpaper but the phone wouldn’t accept them. It doesn’t even acknowledge that you are being sent anything. You can SEND photos and messages, but you can’t RECEIVE them. I called T-Mobile to complain about it, and they said that it was just the way the phone was made – that it does not support email! Wish I had known that beforehand. Another thing, you can’t send the videos you record either, unless you save the media to the memory card and hook it up to your computer using a USB port. I had a Motorola V360 prior to getting this phone, and I had absolutely NO problems with any of these functions – I could send and receive pics, videos, and email without any issues, but I wanted something a little less clumsy. So much for sleekness. It doesn’t even show the date on the home screen, even though in the pictures it’s there. Thinking about it now, I should’ve stuck with my V360 instead.
Plus, the reception on this phone is not that good either. I was riding on a commuter train to get home while talking on it and the train went through a short tunnel – in all of three seconds, I lost my call because the signal had disappeared.
The camera takes great pictures and the mp3 player is okay, but I don’t use it anyway, because I have an iPod and that suits me just fine. This phone is very sleek, attractive and will probably impress someone out there, but as for me, I just want a phone that works and does what I am shelling out my hard-earned money for. So if you’re thinking of purchasing this, think again. If you’re going to spend good money on a mobile phone, the least you can expect is to get one that does what you want it to do – and this ain’t it. Get a Blackberry or a Sidekick instead.
Update, 9/5/07: Looks like Motorola has automatically issued an update on the software for this phone. . . it shut off on me one day and when it came back on, it was updating itself. . . seemingly now it can receive email. I was able to email myself the wallpaper background I originally wanted. However, the jury is still out on whether or not it can send and receive video clips.

I too bought this phone 6 months ago b/c it’s cute and has a lot of great features. It usually works well. So, I have few complaints about function. However, soon after I bought the phone, the control pad and center selection key fell off of the phone.
T-mobile did replace the phone quickly and without argument. (I love T-mobile customer service! Every time I call them they are friendly and solve my problem quickly)
But, about a week later, my sister’s phone did the same thing and also needed to be replaced. Now, these keys are again coming off of my replaced model (and a few store models I have seen). Motorola suspects that they’re using a glue that sucks (obviously).
Also, my battery only lasts for one day now. And my charger no longer works. I have to use the USB cord to charge the phone from my computer. A friend told me that Motorola got a bad shipment of chargers/batteries as well.
So, all in all, I do like the phone and it’s features. . . Maybe I just got my phone at an unfortunate time and got stuck with sucky batteries/chargers/glue.
