IT’S LIKE BUYING A BIKINI YOU’ER PAYING MORE BUT GETTING LESS AFTER OWNING THE SAMSUNG SGH T809 THIS PHONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN UNDATED MODEL BUT I WAS DISSAPOINTED THAT NOT ONLY IT HAS NO MEMORY, SO IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE MP3 PLAYER BE PREPARED TO SHELL OUT MONEY FOR THE MICRO CARD & THE USB CABLE YOU ALSO HAVE TO GO TO THE SAMSUNG WEBSIGHT TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS PHONE IS GOING BACK I’LL STICK WITH THE OLDER MODEL(T-809).

I returned it after only five days.
I searched everywhere but you cannot turn off predictive text, permanently. Predictive text is like that annoying boyfriend who thinks he knows you so well he can predict what you are going to say; gets it wrong and annoys you even more by derailing your train of thought. The salesperson at the T-Mobile store couldn’t figure out where or even if you could disable it. The text messaging font is very small and has awful letter spacing. You also have to slide it open to do ANYTHING–even check the time or discover if you have a text message. I was really disappointed.
I used it for five days and had to charge it three times.
Also, it comes with almost no memory. So if you are planning to use the music player function or even save a few photos you had better get a bigger card.

I’ve used at least 3 Nokia, 2 motorola and 2 samsung. This samsung blast is the worst. SO many softare bugs and extremely unfriendly user interface. Samsung need to learn from Nokia. For example, I tried to add a phone number to my phone book, it says the number is already in the ph, but it’s not in the ph list. and i could not figure out how to add voice tag to each contact. With Nokia, everything is dummy proof.

I’ve had the phone for about 2 weeks and I am unable to receive text messages from my friends who have Verizon service (I have T-mobile). I’ve had them call Verizon and I’ve been in contact with T-Mobile. I find this weird because I know the Blast is also available from Verizon. I am considering returning this phone for that reason because I find it very frustrating being that I text more than I talk. Something to consider if you are textually active across providers like my friends and I.

This is the worst cell phone that I have ever had. The phone stays charged for 5 hours at the most. Hard for people to hear you on the other end, my friends are always asking me to repeat myself.
The use of email is not bad, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE and purchase this phone.
