Sure looks nice, and seems ok at first. But then. . . You find out your OK button on the outside has approved your phone to take on a life of its own and hook up to the web, start the music player. . .
I had a memory card for this phone and it still didn’t allow me to send photos due to “Memory Full” issues, when I only used half my memory on the card. To further complicate sending a photo, I found a way to do it was to transfer the photo from the card to the phone, and everything else had to be freed up to allow the space to do it. No messages in the inbox or sent box AT ALL, and one or two other saved photos on the phone is about the max. Then sending the photo back to the card.
The Picture Messages don’t show the entire subject line.
In less than three months the phone started shutting itself off if I slid the phone closed. Now it randomly shuts itself off, the music player randomly comes on. . . And that handy dandy front screen that makes it so you don’t have to open the phone to view calls, messages etc. That screen doesn’t work any more. It’s black. I don’t abuse the phone, don’t drop it, haven’t gotten it wet, and it’s already on the fritz!
What I HAVE seen is the Samsung Alias 2, which ROCKS, and that’s my replacement phone. I will not even agree to accept a replacement Blitz. It’s that bad. I wish I could give it less than one star.

It’s a good thing this phone has a decent keyboard for text messages because I can’t use it to make calls. The sound quality is horrible. Everyone I talk to sounds like they’re talking with their hand over their mouth, and I can only understand every other word. Piece of crap.

I thought my cobra radar detector was a POS until I bought this phone. 6 months into the contract and I’m on my 4th replacement phone because all the others just keep shutting off. . . dead. You turn it on and then within seconds, it’s dead again. Verizon won’t seem to do anything except give me another POS phone to try for another month. It’s a 2 year contract and the manufacture gives a 1 year warranty. . . . . that leaves me paying for a year without a phone once the warranty runs out. Yep, thats good business VERIZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a more “mature” phone user, I wanted a phone that would allow me to do some texting with my daughter, but wasn’t interested in a full-blown smart phone. And aside from two fairly significant flaws, the Blitz does a nice job. Call quality is good using phone mode, but the speaker is tinny and cheesy. Not nearly as good as speakers in a regular LG phone. The camera is also not ideal. Bright, sunny areas get blown out and what you see on screen is not the image you get. No video either. But the little mini-keyboard is cool and very manageable, even for someone with larger thumbs. Has a very cool, easy to use stopwatch which happens to come in handy in my line of work. Accepts MP3 ring tones and easy to program. Battery life and talk time are excellent. Not a bad choice if you want a keyboard to do some texting and good sound quality from phone or wired headset.

I bought this phone through Verizon, not here. But, I love it! I installed Backup Assistant just fine. I have not had any problems with it in any category. I wish it came in more colors, and had video, but I love everything else. The sound is amazing, and people hear me more clearly than my other expensive phones. The keyboard is great. The camera isn’t the worst I’ve had. I’m overall pleased with the purchase. It has more and less options than my other flip phones. You just have to read the instructions and figure it out. Don’t believe all the bad reviews out there.
